Refreshing the brand and messaging
Weston Wood Solutions was in the midst of switching focus. With that came a need to rethink the entire brand, all the way down to the roots. As a global supplier of a range of different wood based products, the focus had always been on the product. Though this had been successful overall, it led to the messaging misrepresenting the core value of working with Weston Wood Solutions.
The aim was to refocus the brand message to be aligned with the new model.
We wanted to create a message that would help grow the new company into something more than just a product supplier. Existing clients of Weston Wood Solutions already knew that exemplary customer service was a cornerstone of Weston’s beliefs, but time and habit may have made this a point worth reminding people of. By understanding how Weston work’s with their clients and what they offer, the core values were identified and new messaging could be developed to deliver that.
We learned that by working so closely with their clients, Weston’s message needed to shift onto the benefits of the service they offered instead of just their end product.
Once the key benefits of the Weston services were identified, we integrated them into their messaging: Quality, true service, long lasting partnerships and their experience.
As this is a very technical industry, the content needed to be technical enough while still getting the core message across.
Weston Wood Solutions has been given new life thanks to the hard work of their own people and that of Media Mall.
